Print Recipe Fish Wontons with Spicy Sauce

Fish Wontons with Spicy Sauce

Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Main Ingredients:fish, cream cheese, wonton shells

1 cup ketchup

¼ cup chili garlic sauce

4 tsp Chinese hot mustard

1 8oz cream cheese (softened)

6 blue gill filets (cooked and flaked)

1/3 cup green onion tops (minced)

1 can water chestnuts (minced)

1 pkg wonton wrappers

1 egg white (beaten)

oil for frying

 

Sauce: mix ketchup, chili garlic sauce and hot mustard.

Beat cream cheese, add fish, onions and water chestnuts. Take wonton wrapper and put 1 tsp full of fish mixture on wonton wrapper fold over and press and seal edges with egg whites. Heat oil and add wontons and fry approx. 2 minutes until browned, remove with slotted spoon and place on paper towel. Serve with sauce on the side.
