What’s a mess!
Snow is not exactly turkey hunting weather, we are are going to go at it anyway!
It is our annual central South Dakota sponsor turkey hunt and it is kicking off with a major winter blast. While everyone else is in camp, desperately figuring out if the hunt can even begin…I’m snowed in—unable to get there at all!
The good news is it’s supposed to be warming up and I’ll finally arrive-- just in the nick of time for our 12th annual Burke, South Dakota Sponsor Archery turkey hunt quest for Merriam’s turkeys…everyone’s finally getting out in the fresh snow wondering how the turkeys will react.
Just put it this way, the turkeys are going to be doing their spring ritual no matter what, the problem lies in if we can get into the position we need to be in to make it a success. So please tune in and see who is successful and who is not.
