On this weeks “Good Fishing” co-host Mike Weinkauf will be taking us all to amazing Rio Negro Lodge in Brazil—a place I’ve known the pleasure of visiting myself and one you might want to consider when winter strikes hard in North America.  Once you get there, It truly is an angling adventure like no other. 

After landing in Manaus, Brazil, it’s still another 245 miles before reaching Barcelos—a tiny, remote village on the Rio Negro River. 

Then from there, it’s another 42 miles by boat to reach the Rio Negro lodge—a true wonder in the jungle set developed by Phil Marsteller, son of missionaries, some 15 years ago.  But make sure you join us because you’ll see the biggest reasons so many American anglers  travel so far to experience literally the world’s finest peacock bass fishing.
