You have heard
that hunting in Colorado for mulies
and elk are what legends are made
of. This ranch offers high quality
private hunting. Nearly 38,000 acres
of their Colorado hunting land is
enrolled in Colorado’s “Ranching
for Wildlife” program. The
elk hunts are scheduled during the
heat of the rut. During the past
few years, hunters have experienced
greater than a 90% success rate.
4,000-6,000 elk reside on the ranch.
Mule deer hunting is awesome. 24” to
30” bucks the norm.
I hunted elk
at this 5 star lodge with my good
friend Steve Shaunesy and within
an hour of the first hunt I had
a nice 5X5 within bow range in
which I couldn't get a shot. Their
guides are as good as they come.
Our guides were able to call in
elk several times within shooting
range. Steve eventually shot his
nice 6X6 at 33 yards and I shot
my 5X5 at 30 yards.. The entire
experience was outstanding, from
the hunt all the way to personal
service.
