Pete "Bwana" Ressler
has over 40 years of experience hunting
in North Dakota. His expertise has
been recognized by numerous outdoor
publications and television shows.
He's the only goose hunter endorsed
by the North American Hunting Club.
Pete has partnered
up with a leader in the hospitality
industry, Mike Prom. Mike along with
his wife Sue, own and operate a successful
resort and canoe outfitting business
in Northern Minnesota's famed Boundary
waters canoe Area.
Their combined
efforts as partners at Senior Goslings
Goose Lodge will result in unforgettable
goose hunting trips for all involved!
This lodge is located in between
2 refuges resting in the central
fly way. Each day, these birds fly
out of the refuge to feed in the
nearby fields. Geese are very aboundant
with 90% being snow or blue geese.
Ducks are very abundant as well.
The lodge is a
renovated school building and a great
facility. There are large bedrooms
and they are private. There is a
lounge with cocktails and snacks
served every night. There are also
3 meals served daily.
I have hunted
with Pete in the past and have
done a few shows there. Every time
we go there, we have an exceptional
hunt. His land is located in the
central fly-way so the amount of
waterfowl is staggering. When you
hunt here, you definitely will
have a very sore shoulder from
all the shooting you will do.
Seasons: End of
September through the middle of November.
