Caribou Success is 99%

The season for sport hunts starts August 15 and ends November 30. During the August hunts the caribou are in velvet and by the beginning of September the velvet begins to shed. By the beginning of October, the lakes in the barren lands begin to freeze, bringing the fall hunts to an end. Success rates throughout August and September remain about the same at 99%.

British Columbia Hunting Adventure
