This ranch
is a working cattle ranch straddling
the Colorado and Wyoming border.
Our ranch operates on 200,000
acres of the magnificent Rocky
Mountains. We're home to thousands
of trout, elk, mule deer, pronghorn
antelope and of course, cattle.
The Little Snake River meanders
through the ranch offering
25 miles of pristine, private
river flyfishing, complimented
by 30 oxbow ponds and lakes
teeming with rainbow, brook,
brown, and cutthroat trout.
Flyfishing basks you in solitude
and challenges your sense of
nature.
As might
be expected, along with our
superb fishing, the ranch also
provides world-class hunting
opportunities for some of North
America's most desired big-game
species. Our hunt is unparalleled
in quality and service. Elk,
mule deer, and pronghorn antelope
hunting is our forte. With
nearly 200,000 acres in Wyoming
and Colorado, you may be assured
that your hunting experience
will be second to none.
Rounding out recreational opportunities, we offer horseback riding,
hiking, four wheeling, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, wildlife
viewing and more. Come, let us share this magnificent ranch
and its remarkable land and waters with you.
This
destination is totally unlike
anything I have ever seen
existing in North America.
To start with they purchase
a major ranch in northern
Colorado with an existing
good trout river running
through the property. Then
they hired the worlds best
trout river engineer and
totally rebuilt nearly 17
miles of river into a series
on hundreds of perfect trout
pools. Additionally, they
built about 30 small lakes
and ponds for wintering and
rearing. After intensive
stocking and maintained programs
they have created the best
river trout fishing I know
of in the country. Nearly
five million dollars was
spent of the river restoration
project alone!
You can
catch Rainbows, Cutthroats,
Palominos, and steelhead
in abundance and size. When
I was there last fall I caught
more than 60 fish in less
than 3 hours, they ranged
from 3 to 10 lbs!
Couple
this with a new eighteen
million dollars lodge, fabulous
ranch style food and nearly
100 thousand acres, teeming
with wildlife and you have
the trout fishing/family
vacation of a life time!
Take a drive on the many
mountain roads intertwining
the ranch and your bound
to see several herds of Elk.
It’s absolutely amazing.
To say this destination is
only first class would be
an understatement...it's
absolutely world class!
Seasons:
Fall, Winter, Spring.
