Amazon Tours defined luxury accommodation "peacock bass fishing" in the Amazon in 1992 by introducing the world to the Amazon Queen, an 85-foot, three-story floating hotel with all of the comforts of home. The Amazon Queen provides our guests with access to the best peacock bass fisheries in the world, while remaining the premier water-borne fishing accommodations in Brazil.

Due to the enormous success of the Amazon Queen, Amazon Tours added an additional lodging option for "peacock bass" fishermen with the completion of the Rio Negro Lodge in October 1998.Offering unwavering quality and a commitment to exceptional service, the Rio Negro Lodge delivers a truly unique experience.

Whether you are looking for "peacock bass fishing" from an exciting, world-renowned floating hotel, the remote adventure of the Rio Araca Lodge, or the uncompromising luxury found in the finest fishing lodge in Brazil, Amazon Tours has a trip to meet your needs. Join us for the adventure of a lifetime.

Amazon Queen
For Amazon Tours guests that want the ultimate combination of luxury and adventure, the Amazon Queen is the perfect choice. You'll live on the Queen during your whole trip, departing each morning by Nitro boat with a guide and fishing partner, returning each evening for dinner, a nightcap and sleep.

This 85-foot, three story, floating hotel offers comfort, convenience and privacy for up to 16 passengers. The Queen's air conditioned cabins feature private baths and bunk-type beds. A spacious dining room and a top deck lounge/observation area are perfect for gathering with other adventurers to talk about the day's fishing or just watch the jungle glide by. There's even an onboard tackle shop, stocked with everything you need to fish the Amazon.

Rio Negro Lodge
Anglers who choose to use the Rio Negro Lodge as a home base depart each morning by Nitro boat or floatplane and return each night for rest and relaxation.
Completed in 1998, the lodge was designed to epitomize luxury for up to 36 guests.

Spacious and air conditioned, the main lodge spans 5,000 square feet beneath a verdant jungle canopy. The lodge serves as a hub for fine dining and fellowship while the private cabins form spokes for solitude.

Rio Araca Lodge
Amazon Tours, Inc., owner and operator of the Rio Negro Lodge and Amazon Queen, is proud to announce a new destination for world class peacock bass fishing in Brazil - the Rio Aracá Lodge. The new lodge is fully operational and ready to welcome guests.
The Aracá River was the set location for the Bass Pro Shops/Outdoor
World's TV program. During the taping of this show, Johnnie Morris caught a huge 25.5 pound peacock bass while his two nephews' both caught pending junior world records. This trip, along with other fishing fly-outs to the area, demonstrated to Amazon Tours' owner Philip Marsteller that this was a fishery with great potential. There was only
one problem - it was located in such a remote area, it could only be
reached by plane for day trips. With this in mind, the Rio Araca Lodge
was born.
