Is heading north
to a secluded wilderness lake your
idea of a little time spent in paradise?
To a lake so secluded that the friends
and family in your log cabin are
the only people you will see all
week? Does that dream include catching
fish until you get tired of casting
and have to go looking for a moose,
bear or beaver just to take a break?
Is this dream trip one of the items
on your long list of "want to
do, but postponable until another
time, maybe next year" list?
Why put it off
any longer? We can design a trip
around your needs and wants. Imagine
going somewhere you can concentrate
on catching up on old times, the
events of the past year and rehashing
those old fishing stories while you
make the memories needed to create
new one.
An "outpost
camp" is a solitary cabin on
a wilderness lake. As your outfitter,
we provide the float plane travel
into the lake, plus the cabin, the
boat, motor, gas, and basic fishing
gear like nets and paddles. The cabins
are fully modern with indoor showers
and electric lighting. All you need
to bring are your fishing rods, tackle,
bedding and groceries.
Executives, groups of old friends and family members too long apart
love outpost camps. But outposts have become popular with couples
seeking romance and the seclusion of their own private hideaway
in the wilderness. Women-only groups too are finding out why their
husbands have been keeping these trips to themselves. It’s
a great way to get away from everyday life and recharge your internal
batteries.
Our eleven outpost
cabins sit on the choicest lakes
in northwestern Ontario. Each outpost
is a little different, designed for
all levels of fishing expectations
and abilities. Let us know what kind
of fishing trip you have in mind,
and we'll design a trip around your
needs. But before you call, talk
to anyone who has visited one of
our outpost camps. They'll tell you
its the ultimate way to fish in Canada.
This destination
offered the best Tarpon fishing
I’ve ever experienced. We
caught numerous Tarpon up nearly
180 lbs! And let me promise you
that when one of these big boys
hit the end of your line you’ll
know you’ve got a fish on.
They’re incredible powerful
and spectacular jumps are common.
The best tarpon fishing is usually
for a couple of months in early
summer, but they offer a variety
of types of ocean fishing, from
fishing shipwrecks for Permit and
Barracuda to bottom fishing for
Grouper and others. The captain
was extremely good with first-rate
equipment and accommodations. If
you're looking for a great salt-water
fishing experience, at reasonable
prices, then this would be a good
choice.
