This lodge is on beautiful Lake of the Woods. This family style operation has been around for some time. The accommodations are adequate but somewhat rustic, the food and staff very are both good. This is a drive to so you’ll need to bring all your own equipment.
There is good walleye and sauger fishing most of the year, lots of smallmouths, good pike and some of the best Muskie fishing in the country. There is also good Crappie fishing at times although it’s spotty. When you find them its usually the mother lode! If you’re on a tight budget, but still want a crack to trophy fish and lots of action, this would be a good choice.
