Shrimpy Crappies

The combination of freshwater fish and saltwater shrimp go together like families and fishing. They just seem to draw flavors from one another that everyone likes. And when you add cheese? Well I’m from Wisconsin, so in my opinion you just can’t go wrong with it. So give this one a try. You’ll be glad you did.

6 crappie fillets
1 can cream of shrimp soup
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup onion (chopped0
1 can small shrimp (drained)
1/2 cup Colby cheese (cubed)
Salt & pepper to taste

Place fish in glass baking dish. Mix the soup and milk together. Salt and pepper your fillets and place onions on top. Pour the soup mixture over top of fillets, then spread the shrimp and finally the cubed cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes until fish flakes. Serve over wild rice.
